Sexing the Agenda

Issue 33:3 | September 2013

A wild ride through the lush terrain of gender studies. Women get in and out of strange disguises in the name of next generation feminism. Others remake images of self and selfhood in the name of QLGBT. The idea of family is reinterpreted for the 21st century. War artists reflect on gender at the battlefront. Indigenous women tell their stories, and the former Female Factory, later the  Paramatta Girls Home, is remembered.
