Issue 42:1 | April 2022
Editor: Una Rey
The genre of contemporary art writing constitutes a vast field, from scholarly informed art history to provocative criticism and short-form social media. This issue invites proposals from art writers from all disciplinary corners, cultural backgrounds and generations. Using Artlink’s 40-year archive (1981-2021) as a stimulant, we welcome expressions of interest that engage with critical, curatorial and historical writing, visual essays and speculative prose. Priority will be given to proposals that support creative producers from Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific.
