The art of climate change

Paul Downton is an architect, writer and urban evolutionary. In 1989 he was founding president of The Greenhouse Association of South Australia – Australia’s first community based organisation dedicated to fighting climate change. Ten years later he designed the celebrated eco-development of Christie Walk as an example of climate responsive urbanism. He is the author of Ecopolis: Architecture and cities for a changing climate (Springer 2009).
