Flesh after fifty: Changing images of older women in art

Jacqueline Millner is Associate Professor of Visual Arts at La Trobe University and co-editor with Catriona Moore of Feminist Perspectives on Art: Contemporary Outtakes published by Routledge in 2018.

Flesh After Fifty curated by Jane Scott features artists Catherine Bell with Cathy Staughton, Janina Green, Penny Byrne, Ponch Hawkes, Maree Clarke, Hotham Street Ladies, Ruth Maddison, Deborah Kelly, Greg Taylor, Patrick Pound, Peter Wegner, Niki Koutouzis, Sam Jinks and Megan Evans.

The exhibition was scheduled to open at Abbotsford Convent in March 2020 but due to public exhibition restrictions during the Covid-19 pandemic has been postponed until 7 March – 11 April 2021.
