Simone Hine__I think a good place to start is an early exhibition How to Beat a Dead Horse at Kuiper Projects in Meanjin/Brisbane in 2021 where we are both based.

Keemon Williams__My first ever solo show! I got to work with you and Kyle Weise as co-directors of Kuiper Projects, and you both really helped that crucial coming of age period as an artist. I was scared that because there was so much great work already being made by stellar Indigenous artists, my heroes you know, that I thought ‘what could I possibly add??’ Doing this show really taught me it’s powerful to inherit these conversations and to translate them in your own way. That’s how we keep our resistance strong — you can’t erase a moving target!
