The end of the Chiang Mai Social Installation
Many stories go round in the old city. People have been sitting telling stories together without the slightest sign of boredom for generations. For the old stories, it is easy to combine different fragments or add distortions in various ways, to make the story-telling more interesting. Perhaps this is the reason why these stories are still around. But the city also has more recent stories. Sometimes it is quite difficult to talk about because the people involved may still be sensitive to them or to some details, especially to the final phrase of a story that says: "...and so it all ended." This is such a story.
