Durrugarra ngiyang.gu ngurambang: tracing language home
This text is based on teachings from Dr Uncle Stan Grant Snr, whom I have had the privilege of working with for more than a decade. He is our most senior Wiradyuri language-holder and has dedicated his life to the revitalisation of our language. Together, we have created several projects that have promoted Wiradyuri philosophies. Learning my language and collaborating on projects with Uncle Stan continues to significantly influence my practice. Throughout the text, I refer to him respectfully as Uncle.
