I have a background in depth psychology and esoteric symbolism, and have a keen interest in audience accessibility and engagement, the transformative power of art, and art as a measure of health and wellbeing in a community. I am currently working on a book of interviews with Australian art identities discussing the purpose, meaning and value of contemporary art, and I'm also a member of the Tasmanian Book Prize Committee. I'll be presenting a piece for Junction 2010 called Life Imitating Art on the power of arts practice in community development.
