Kylie Waters

Kylie Waters is an artist who lives and works in Adelaide. She recently completed a body of work during the residency at the South Australian School of Art. Relating and responding to a collection of indigenous artifacts donated to the South Australian Museum by her grandfather A.V. Heidenreich. An exhibition at the South Australian Museum Feb-March 2009 featured this work juxtaposed with the artifacts from the museum collection

Threads, traces and legacies of the mission
Artist Kylie Waters works with the history of her own family and the way it is embedded in South Australian history. Specifically she explores the space between negative and positive evaluations of Lutheran missions in Central and South Australia.
