Peggy Griffiths-Madij is a senior Miriwoong artist who lives and works alongside her daughter Jan Griffiths, who is also an artist. Both Peggy and Jan nurture younger generations of female artists in their family through their work with Waringarri Aboriginal Arts, at Kununurra in far north-east Western Australia.
