Land, Poetry, Power: Selling Art from the Kimberley and Western Desert
The western third of the Australian continent encompasses enormous distances. It includes the tropical Kimberley as well as what is euphemistically called the desert. It offers unique experiences such as visiting the Ngaanyatjarra Lands, The Lands as they are called: a permit is required, alcohol is banned for a thousand kilometres, it takes a long time to get there by any method, and it feels a bit like visiting another country.
